It always gets blown out of proportion, no matter the candidate. Hell, Obama at one point was counted out because of a poor showing at a rally or debate early on - they said he was a terrible orator. In this case it happens to tap into a steady stream of GOP BS about Biden that seemingly many otherwise rational people on Lemmy have bought hook, line, and sinker.
