Starting Jan 1st, 2024 all amusement rides in Illinois will be required to have at least one operator that is certified in CPR.

Personally, I think this is a great law and should be adopted elsewhere. CPR training isn’t a huge endeavor (you can be trained in as little as a few hours) but in the event that someone needs CPR this could be the difference between them surviving or not.
