    Which state are you in? Some states have same day voter registration where you can ask to register to vote in person on the same time that you cast a ballot - often after the online and mail deadline

    Also if you registered to vote in the past, it should still be active unless it was purged, in which case you might be able to argue with the registrar about it

      Indiana, it was October 7 deadline and i have never voted before. So it wouldnt carry over :(

      From what i can find theres no in person same day voting. You must be registered 30days before.

        Ah, well you can still register today for the next election while you’re at it so you don’t miss it. In Indiana, the next elections will be the 2026 Midterms. And don’t discount midterms or non-presidental races. There are can often some truly insane people running down ballot. For instance, the republican Mike Braun running for Indiana governor has said that he think the supreme court was wrong to legalize interracial marriage nationally. Or on the flip side there are often some unappreciated and really great people running locally who don’t get much media attention


        Note for the people reading this in Virginia, Virginia is state that has elections every single year and Virginia does have same day voter registration through election day
