    Now, I don’t live in Colorado, but it seems to me that if you want money from someone, you have to meet the requirements to get that money. If you don’t like the requirements, either suck it up and meet the requirements anyway or just don’t take the money

      So when an entire town, city, state is nothing but businesses requiring religious alignment, do you just die or… are you protected from religious freedom, something this country was founded on.

        This hypothetical would not likely be found outside of a theocracy. And if the citizens of a state decided that was the direction they were going to go, then it would no longer enshrine the 1st Amendment right of the government not establishing or supporting one religion over another.

        Freedom of religion means you get to choose your religious beliefs without the government getting involved. The reverse is also true: the government isn’t going to give money to you to preach. The whole reason why churches don’t pay taxes is a nod to this.
