TBF, I think we’ll still have elections next time. Even Russia still technically has elections.

legitimacy can be seen as a scale. In the last 19 years the US has never been the most legitimate democracy but i dont think it could have been considered “undemocratic” or autocratic since the end of the civil rights movement either.
Managed democracy
Protest voters did not meaningfully effect the results.
The demographics that voted for biden but not for harris were older white men/women and hispanic men. Probably because of those groups having internalized patriarchal views and machismo culture.
Democrats have failed you. They’re just the sugarcoated version of republicans.

They’re just the sugar-coated version of republicans, aside from all the ways that they’re better than the Republicans
But they happen to slightly align on one issue regarding a conflict on the other side of the world, so I guess they really are the same after all
