If there’s no security guarantees, then this war will just drag on and yea hopefully either someone sensible will cancel this or Ukraine does something clever that results in state not owning any rare earths/metals/minerals directly, ensuring this agreement becomes worthless.
Why would you take any deal if someone ‘sensible’ can cancel it later?
