    You sure about that? Maybe you’re just making a lot of money (as would be expected if you’re an American living in Albania)? That aside the problem that makes people become economic immigrants is lack of opportunity; from a quick Google unemployment was 10% in 2022 and PPP GDP per capita is 83th globally and below the world average. People from first world countries tend to not quite grasp that fact. Albania also apparently has big corruption problems that it needs to resolve before it can get EU membership, so while it seems a good faith effort is being made there are reasons one would want to leave. You’ll probably get more specific examples if you ask one of the locals.

      No no, the cost of living is nothing. A quick google search shows the average cost of living is only around $945 a month!!

      Please, just don’t go figure out what their average pay is. I promise that doesn’t factor into this equation, and it’s totally more than half of their cost of living lol
