This is great news. It’s unfortunate that the 8 years of updates is limited to qualcomm flagship chip, anyway it’s still a step in the right direction.
My phone will be 8 years this year and it survived this long because of custom ROMs that don’t support this device anymore, so i’m all in for this types of policies.
