Taco can bully the Republicans with the power of the purse and threatening the funding of primaries against them if they don’t go along. Sure the base firebombing their families is a factor, too. But Musk and Thiel obviously have very deep pockets and could do similar bullying. Musk in particular also has his share of crazy stans and incels that could also probably be whipped up into threats of violence against non-compliant pubbies.
