I can honestly say I have absolutely no idea how smart or capable they are, and unless you’re a classmate, relative or friend of the family I strongly doubt that you do either. I didn’t even know (or care) that she had kids. But I do know several people personally who got accepted to multiple schools. Speculating about this is pointless and arguing about it is even moreso.
Cue the chorus of “but they’re rich so we hate them and so should you or you’re horrible” yada yada.
