For those that didn’t see my reddit post a while back, I made my own extension for the Civilization a new dawn boardgame, with around 90 event cards, 36 great people cards, and a new Era Score system (obviously all inspired by the video-game).

    They streamlined the game for sure, on every turn you only have 1 action, between: Production (cities or wonders), Science, Culture (only way to capture resources and natural wonders) , Trade (no road system) , War (max 2 armies), And growth (to build districts or to reinforce your territory).

    The base game is pretty barebones, but with the terra incognita extension it gets very interesting (adds government, exploration, way more civilizations, districts, and so much more). My Homebrew extension is just there to add a bit of “fluff” with random event cards at the end of every player’s action, for randomness into the game. It also limits the game time, adds great people, and a new way to score the game.
