Former President Donald Trump received a $5,000 fine on Friday for violating the gag order put in place by Judge Arthur Engoron to protect his staff and his courtroom’s proceedings.

$5000. What bullshit.

    At least it’s something. Hopefully there will be a steep escalation of fines as trump continues to trump.

          He should have been in a jail cell since the fucking 1980s. This is the logical outcome of a rich asshole child not being told no for eighty fucking years.

        Unlike his contractors, the state doesn’t have to accept pennies on the dollar for what they fine him to keep the lights on. Plus, the state can garnish wages and take measures not available to private businesses (who again, have to keep the lights on).
