        For sure, hopefully we can withstand the superstorms long enough to completely alter everyone’s quality of life, transition to a circular economy, get all the developing nations off oil and gas, capture the co2 and methane we’ve been releasing for the past 200, and 10,000 years respectively, and make sure that we don’t trigger ww3 in the process! No biggie

          Just because we can’t do everything doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do anything. Or worse, like you’re doing here, criticize a good thing because it doesn’t solve everything.

          That kind of doomerism you feel is exactly by design, because the less you feel you can do, the longer the big polluters can keep hoarding wealth.

            My guy, humans are a plague on the planet. Unless we all go back to tribal communes living in tune with nature, there’s no justification for our existence. Hopefully the next species to develop intelligence learns from our mistake.
