eta - Hamas are a tiny little fly in terms of international power. If it wouldn’t badly damage trade agreements, Israel could just flatten all of Palestine and move on like it never existed. If MAGA cultists took over the US government that is a power that can end humanity, and a lot of the evangelical MAGAs are just itching for the apocalypse.
