American fast food chain Subway has been added to Ukraine’s list of “international sponsors of war” for its continued presence in the Russian market, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) announced on Jan. 10.

Not a huge surprise. Subway as a company sucks. I’ve heard horror stories from franchise owners when I worked there. Plus, I think John Oliver did an episode on them for how shitty the subway overlords are. Also come on, when it was $5 to get a footlong sub, I could wrap my head around it, but now the same sandwich is like $12.

You can get one for seven or three for 18 with a coupon.

I mean they can eat a dick now, but they’re still not too expensive if you use a coupon

        FUCK COUPONS

Also fuck discounts for using apps and every other thing that makes buying things more complicated than exchanging money for goods and services.

For fast food, using an app is way simpler and faster than ordering in person and having to wait the entire prep time while I’m there.

How slow is your fast food?

I am complaining about the whole tying discounts to mobile apps as the problem, not mobile apps existing.

It’s usually not slow unless I’m doing something stupid like trying to go to McDonalds at 3AM.

But it’s still faster to order ahead so that by the time I get there I can just walk in, pick it up, and leave.

Not good enough. The “picked just for you” suggestions are things I’ve never picked in my life.
