Up to 20 per cent of trees at Perth's Hyde Park need to be removed due to an insect infestation affecting more than 80 suburbs in the city.

Just in case anybody has forgotten (i think the kings park infestation was talked about a couple weeks ago). Keep an eye out for shot-hole borer in your local parks.

    This is sad, hope they get it under control. Lake Claremont looks a bit sad without its lovely old trees.
