The poster was sympathetic to how unaffordable shit is. I think they are aware. Yes, they got lucky, but they recognize that and are commenting on how bullshit it is that this type of security is out of reach.
So, now I’m in my parents’ estate and I was able to retire early (really I didn’t need to work, but I liked my job) and I see how high home prices are for the U.S. now and wonder how new families are ever going to be able to continue to live and find housing in this country.
It Works with a capital W for me! I’m certainly enjoy having this kind of wealth, and no apologies. I’m off to go on a retail therapy spree once again!
