Because Republicans don’t hide who they are, every segment of society knows exactly where they stand whith conservatives, whether you are black or gay or immigrant or Muslim, you know exactly where you stand with Republicans. Democrats are like a snake in the grass. They hide among you and are difficult to see until they’re ready to strike. They co-opt the language of the marginalized give them a sense of inclusivity and then use them as tokens to remain in power.
