It’s almost guaranteed that we’ll have to go through them to win the CL, though, so maybe it’d be better to get it out of the way early.
That’s true! I guess it’s all a bit ephemeral. The real answer is that they have an elite mentality and a strong squad. If we can win the champions league, we can do it no matter who we face. And if we win all of our remaining games, we win the league.
Sure, that’s easier said than done, but we can only play the next game and hope for luck in everything else.
It would be interesting to face them another two times, mind games in the title race etc

Technically we can win all our games and still lose the league if Liverpool overtakes our GD again
