I would like more info on the creation process. The provided examples don’t make much sense for the island example.
At any rate, so much plastic 🫠
For the island, my guess is that the plastic washed up on shore / reef / rocky beach. Then over time, the sun slowly melted it and it eventually got stuck to rock. More rock washed against it and eventually sank in to warm plastic.
Oh my gosh that’s even worse than I was thinking.
That is wildly unexpected.
Why didn’t anyone warn us about such things?
