What do these massive corps that buy other corps do? Like yeah, you’re kadokawa corp. What do you do? Collect money from buying other companies?
I imagine in this case, it’s for the intellectual property; i.e. the octopath traveller name and trademark. Which probably means they intend to develop future products under the OT name.
Wish this would come back to game pass. Sea of Stars got me hankering for jrpg again
