The Israel Defense Forces sent troops into Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis based on intelligence that hostages were held there, but army spokesman Daniel Hagari said that as of Thursday evening no evidence had been found to that effect.

The army believes that the hospital was home to key command centers and underground infrastructure. Engineering personnel are now working to locate shafts and tunnels under the complex. In particular, it is searching for command centers that senior Hamas officials worked out of on October 7 or in previous wars.

The Israeli military claims that Hamas uses hospitals in Gaza for military operations, but medical staff have repeatedly denied the allegation. Instead, doctors have been consumed with trying to treat patients while both medical supplies and food dwindle. On Sunday, the director of the World Health Organization said that a request to enter Nasser Hospital was denied by the Israelis.

Either Israel has literally the worst intelligence agency in the world OR they are purposefully lying to justify destroying the necessities of life in Gaza as part of a campaign of genocide. Oh wow I wonder which one it could be what a mystery omg this conflict is so complicated

On one hand you have Palestinians claiming things with video evidence and then you have ZIonists debunking their claims by lying about literally everything. It’s impossible to know who to trust. This is a very complicated conflict.

Wasn’t Israel historically famous for having the best intelligence service of any nation? Didn’t they brag about how much better they were than the CIA?

I believe the original post was sarcastic. It is pretty obvious that by now, all of Israel’s hit on critical infrastructure is blamed on Hamas with Israel failing to provide enough evidence for any of it.

After finding no bodies of hostages nor tunnels, israel claimed 20 medical personnel were Hamas in disguise, offering no evidence. Israel also rejected the WHO’s demand to enter the hospital for independent verification of israel’s claims.

    Palestine Red Crescent strongly rejected the false acccusations;

The PRCS strongly rejects the accusations made by the Israeli occupation forces claiming that they arrested 20 “terrorists disguised as medical personnel,” when they stormed Al-Amal Hospital on 9/2/2024. Storming Al-Amal Hospital and committing such unjustified violations are grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions and customary international humanitarian law.

🚨PRCS warns that they are reflecting a broader policy of the Occupation towards healthcare due to their intense, systematic nature.

The PRCS confirms that the occupation forces arrested 9 of its medical and administrative staff who have been working for the Society for many years. In addition, 9 elderly patients and their companions were arrested; these patients could not be evacuated on 5/2/2024 due to their difficult health conditions which have led to mobility issues.

Edit: A great 3 minute video about the situation According to a doctor an IDF quadcopter equipped with a gun fired into a conference room

So they fucking lied yet again. Fuck Israel.

Edit: hey, can you guys help me compile a credible list of everything they’ve lied about so far? There were those decapitated babies, the “top secret attack plans” ‘found’ during the attack, the tunnels under the cemetery Israel razed that CNN thoroughly debunked, this hospital here, the other hospital (which one was it?) where the old cistern was a “Hamas headquarters” or something - what else?

If I remember correctly (correct me if I’m wrong), the decapitated babies was a rumor that the IDF was strangely quick to deny, and it was the US that later “confirmed” it.

The rape was a huge one that many people still believe and even repeat.

This Intercept article is a huge debunk of popular lies

“Hamas used rape and sexual violence as weapons of war,” charged Erdan, the U.N. ambassador. “These were not spur-of-the-moment decisions to defile and mutilate girls and parade them while onlookers cheered; rather, this was premeditated.”

To date, there has been no credible evidence presented publicly that such a campaign took place, and Hamas has vehemently denied that its fighters committed any acts of rape or sexual assault.

There was no Holocaust survivor killed at Kibbutz Be’eri that day. There were no mass beheadings of babies, no group executions in a nursery, no children hung from clotheslines, and no infants placed in ovens. No pregnant woman had her stomach cut open and the fetus knifed in front of her and her other children. These stories are entirely fictional, a set of audacious lies weaponized to generate the type of collective rage used to justify the unjustifiable.

After Their justifications for war crimes were found to be false. The Israeli government shifted its reasoning for destroying a hospital to “They were totally here. You gotta believe us. Check this out. There’s a desk where Hamas was. They planned October 7th sitting at this Ikea furniture. This desk is a terrorist.” The Palestinian people have yet to come out and condemn desks. The bombings will continue.
