    I notice that your post to a YouTube video is opening an embedded player when clicked with lemmy-ui. My attempts to do the same with recent posts didn’t produce an embedded player but opened the link on youtube.com

    As I understand it, lemmy posts can have an embedded content url (even if there’s some open ticket about it to improve support) so it should be somehow doable.

    Did you use lemmy-ui to submit the current post, or something else? I’d like to post some video from time to time, but easily accessible with an embedded player.

      i used lemmy.world website and pasted link into URL text entry.

        Ok, thanks, same as I did, but back then it was a different lemmy-ui version iirc.

        Let’s see how it will behave in the future…
