That’s the endgame we’ve been warning about.

Reddit if the people running it were honest: “We are in the late stages of massive irreparable failure at our own hands and now need to blame everyone else while scrambling to push water uphill.”

Anyone know a fast way to delete one’s entire reddit comments? One-at-a-time is the only way i’ve seen so far

Last I read, you delete your comments and they won’t be publicly visible but Reddit still has them and still will sell them for monetization

That’s why you edit them first.

As for mass deleting, that should have been done last year. You can’t now.

I am sorry to be a bearer of bad news, but reddit almost certainly has backups. Plus they could have an archive of every comment ever made.

To me, they can keep what they’ve already got from me, they just won’t get any more directly from me- I don’t trust them to honour data deletion requests properly anyway.

I’ve already deleted my account, and never put a deletion request beforehand. And from what I hear you have to do it before you delete your account for them to even give you a chance of honouring the deletion request.

Script taakes way too long though because of that shitty limit Reddit emposed, also eff’d up on the custom text thing sheesh 🥴

It’ll work. They’ll make money off the same type of person who pays for twitter.
