I’m from a conservative country (it’s illegal here), and relatively closeted, so never smelled it before. I was in college in the us and I just referred to it as the ‘smell of the liberal/ creative arts students’.
That’s some good advice; nothing like acting in a way that humiliates your teen every time they do something you disagree with.
But the time to start talking to your teens is the instant they turn 13. The second best time to talk to them is right now.
“Fuck yea! Now I got someone who can hook me up again and they’ll deliver it here!”
