$700 for a Turkish lever action doesn’t sound very appealing when I can get a US made Henry for $250 more. $250 is nothing to scoff at, but we’re talking about a gun that costs 40¢ every time you pull the trigger. If you can afford to feed it you can afford a better gun.

I’m not going to throw that much down on testing out Turkish guns. If you can throw 600-700 down on it, save a bit more and get something of known quality.
