I’m referring to The Best American Poetry series of books that get collected and published annually. The Best American publications, not just for poetry but short stories and essays and what all, are a Godsend. Just search your library for Best American and you’ll see a bunch pop up.

I’m not a poetry person - it seldom works for me - but this one gripped me by my throat and wouldn’t let go. I wish I felt this way about more poetry, but this one really worked for me.
Like you can feel how unreal the world would feel for someone whose child has bombed a clinic right?
