Technically O’Brien only speculated that she could have been his great grandmother. Also, he stopped Julian from doing it. Considering both of Julian’s parents are Middle Eastern and that lady wasn’t, it’s doubtful.

Did you read the article? It gives multiple examples of black and white kisses on US TV that predated this one. It doesn’t mean this one wasn’t significant - it was - but it’s always called “the first,” and it’s plainly not.
