HACKENSACK — A 76-year-old public school custodian has been accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl.
Phillip Porter, of Hackensack, was arrested on Monday and charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
Gross.
Not who I think of when I think of a “Paragon of virtue”.
That’s why the description says, “Stories are about those who have been placed in positions of trust, and then abused that trust.”
My point exactly, I’m not sure how much trust the public puts into a janitorial position? I’ve never trusted them to routinely empty the waste bin. Not saying they aren’t great people, just minimum wage and very little respect given to them, I don’t fault them not caring in the slightest, and the good ones are seen even better because of it. But that man wasn’t placed in a position of trust, he was put in a dead and minimum wage position. (This is not at all defensive his actions, only being critical of this stories relevance to the instance it was placed in)
