Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued a decree dismissing Valerii Zaluzhnyi, former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from military service. Zaluzhnyi was appointed Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK by another decree.

Article literally says it was for medical reasons. He still can wear uniforms.
I don’t care either way, I was just making an observation. Making people ambassadors is a time honored classic of getting politically problematic people to fuck off. Zelensky already did this before too in case people forgot. And I’m sure Zaluzhny will do great.
