This deal isn’t a win for anyone but Microsoft. Less competition means higher prices, more layoffs, and more console exclusives.
Cloud gaming sucks and it sucks harder when the hardware you’re on has enough juice to make any game perfectly playable locally. People aren’t buying Macs to game, but streaming games is not a viable substitute.
