Nah. The sun is too good for them. Let’s cram em into a barrel and send them on a trip to the titanic.

When people are stressed and resource poor, our brains stop thinking ahead and we only worry about the present.

It’s why I hate the whole “republicans are terrible, we have to vote for any D and can’t ask them to do anything!”.

This is Trump’s third presidential election in a row, and even when he finally stops running, the next one is going to be at least just as bad.

I can’t imagine a day when Republicans suddenly run someone who is just fiscally conservative and not insane.

We can’t just keep settling for Dems that don’t agree with what the Dem voters want. If we keep doing it, we’ll keep getting this quality of candidate. Who is actively opposed to the stuff the people who voted them into office want.

Not to mention. It’s a lot easier to beat Republicans in elections when Dem voters want the Dem candidate to be president and not just want to stop the Republican

It’s unconscionably reckless on the part of Democrats to keep doing this. Second worst only has to lose once and that’s it.

        Yep.

Like voters have been told for over a decade that want they what doesn’t matter, the only thing that matters is voting against trump. So we have to vote D no matter what, and “later” we can get a better candidate that wants what we do…

        It ain’t going to happen.

And 12 years is more than enough time that we could have found a better candidate.

If all that matters is keeping trump out of office, then nothing the DNC has been doing for 12 years makes any sense.

Dems have always relied on younger voters, but it’s not just that they’re not trying now. They’ve been openly antagonistic to anyone under 40 for a long time now, which is insane because this is the first election since boomers where under 40 is the largest voter demographic.

It’s just a bunch of old out of touch rich people refusing to acknowledge that votes matter more than donations. Because they still have the most to donate. And they won’t admit another generation has more power.

They’re willing to let trump become president than pass the torch.

Fortunately, the billionaires are busy developing the technology for shooting them into the sun.

Obligatory comment about it being extremely hard to launch something at the Sun. Over 20x more fuel than any planet.
