        Best I can do for your mammoth blood is five bucks.

        I’ve got to get it into a decorative vial, then I’ve got to store it until I find a buyer, and the market is super niche. If you had come in fifteen years ago when True Blood was all the rage, and the vampires were still out in the open, it would be a different story.

    Apparently they have DNA from a few different ones now. They have 70-80% of the genome from these guys. The problem is the DNA is kinda falling apart and is mixed up with a bunch of microbes and other organic fodder, they’re reconstructing the genome using elephant DNA structure as a guide.

    Crazy seeing that in a Vacutainer/Vacuette tube, the standard transportation medium you’d see in any clinic/hospital for routine intravenous blood draw.
