I just made the community, reply to this if you have questions for me.
I suppose it’s your daily driver.
I’m very hesitant on what distro to use on my next brand new computer. Mainly for gaming and some AI Dev. I considered using bazzite (which I tried on my previous) and tuxedo.
Tuxedo os seems to be great but I quite don’t like Ubuntu. Did tuxedo remove the bloat and snap? I prefer flatpack.
Its not Ubuntu, its just Ubuntu based. What that means in a user-facing way is that CLI and compatibility should be the same as Ubuntu. From my personal experience I’d say its probably the best distro i’ve tried (had issues with apps on fedora). By default, it doesn’t have snaps at all.
Good initiative although it might be better to have a global TuxedoComouters computers due to the lack of users
Well it’s not for tuxedo computers, its for tuxedo os. I use tuxedo os on my 4 year old Lenovo gaming laptop. I do want to upgrade but when I do it’ll probably be a framework (still with tuxedo os probably) so I don’t really care about the computers.
