“If only her door wasn’t locked, I could have burst into her room unannounced!”

OP, are you sure that date is correct? Batman first appeared in 1939.

Yeah. I’m borrowing the format from what I’ve seen online, things are named “Series (year started)”, because there can be multiple series with the same name. So that’s the series “Detective Comics (1937)”, issue #406, which was published in 1970. I’d link to it but that’s against the LW TOS.

Oh, that makes sense! Appreciate the clarification, and that system seems pretty sensible.

This is like that time Mario found Princess Toadstool’s dildo. Which is, cannonically a thing that happened in a real Super Mario game, published by Nintendo…and also Squaresoft for some reason.

Well, Mario found Peach’s ??? hidden beside the fireplace in her bedroom. If it is a dildo, then we have to assume that Mario doesn’t know what a dick looks like, which is a brand new twist on the Super Mario lore.

That’s the American version. In the japanese version I forget exactly what it said, but it was something like “Toadstools vibrating wand” or something like that. It’s been almost 30 years since I read it in EGM.

      Princess Toadstool’s dildo

That’s a terrible thing to call Toadsworth!
