Summary

Tom Homan, President-elect Trump’s designated “border czar,” visited the U.S.-Mexico border with Texas Governor Greg Abbott, vowing to implement a “mass deportation” plan in response to the immigration crisis.

Homan stated that planning is already underway for the incoming administration to secure the border at unprecedented levels.

Abbott highlighted Texas’ Operation Lone Star, which deployed troops and barriers but faces criticism over costs and humanitarian concerns.

Homan, a key architect of Trump’s prior immigration policies, emphasized strict enforcement, despite opposition from city mayors and federal lawsuits challenging state immigration actions.

I wonder how many things they’re going to try before they decide they need a solution that’s a little more final

Really looking forward to that vacation to Southern, manual labor intensive farms with a reclining camp chair and a cooler of beer for my minority ass to enjoy the schadenfreude of either shit rotting in the field or watching white folks taking back their jerbs.

My guess will be the former unfortunately.

Yes originally. Now it can be used to refer to any political appointee apparently.

Remember when the teabaggers complained about Obama’s “czars”? You know, because Obama was just like Hitler and Stalin, rolled into one?

Wonder how much hand-wringing they are doing these days?
