I hate clickbait titles. This should be “Sudan has more children fleeing war than anywhere else on Earth”

(Note I’m not calling out OP, I’m calling out the BBC for their clickbait title)

Who could be surprised when the actual title of the site is clickbait to begin with?

Indeed. I don’t understand why so many people and media organizations that pay attention to Gaza don’t cover Sudan too (they may care, but they barely show it). There’s suffering on a similar scale, foreign powers causing and broadening that suffering and global repercussions through migration, disease, weapons smuggling and radicalization.

Everywhere in the world: there’s an immigrant crisis we need to address.

Meanwhile not doing anything about war, exploitation and inequality.

Breaking Down Sudan’s Struggle: What the World Is Missing

“This war is not a civil war, it’s a counterrevolutionary war against civilians,” says Sudanese organizer Nisrin Elamin.

I mean, the war in Sudan precedes the genocide in Gaza by six months, and we didn’t get much coverage then. I think in fact, the movement in solidarity with Palestinians has opened up the space for people to want to know more about Sudan.
