Nobody really knows what’s going on. Seemingly out of the blue the president declared martial law. His reason being that the opposition was too North Korea friendly. Military halfheartedly tried to stop parliament from assembling. When it was assembled they unanimously voted for the martial law to end.

They will probably hold a vote of no confidence on Friday and it’s expected that they have enough support from the governing party to force the president to step down.
