Good stuff, thanks for this find. I’m quite partial to blackened thrash, despite never being a huge fan of black metal itself (rather, 2nd wave black metal). Then again, I haven’t really shown black metal enough attention. I do like Immortal and the other odd song here and there.
Funny you should mention Immortal… Abbath made a side project back in 2005 called I. Yes, the letter I lol. He made a blackened heavy metal album under that band’s name and it was glorious. Here’s the whole album!
