There is no excuse for the killing of Brian Thompson or celebrating his death.

Is there an excuse for killing us regular people by denying us medical care or celebrating record profits as a direct result of our early deaths, WaPo?

    Oh there is?

Alright, just wanted to make sure we’re all on the same page.

Miss me with the handwringing and pearl clutching.

Those who excuse or celebrate Mr. Thompson’s killing reveal an ends-justify-the-means sentiment that is flatly inconsistent with stable democracy.

We have not been a stable democracy for quite a while now. It’s fucked that the “newspaper of record” is trying to pretend otherwise.

That’s fine in principle, but we’re skeptical that this particular moment lends itself to nuanced discussion of a complicated, and heavily regulated, industry.

Ah there it is! How dare the poors use this tragedy to bring up a base and disgusting issue like their inability to pay their (medical) debts instead of blindly praising and weeping over the dead millionaire?

There are tradeoffs involved in healthcare: we’re trading your lives for our money, this is no time for debate! It’s time to come together, in silence, and spend some extra money on security and healthcare this holiday season.

Couldn’t even get through one article without slandering the college students protesting a genocide. What a rag.

I like how he just assumes that most people find it a terrible act and that social media does not represent the opinions of the people.

I polled ~6 friends at a holiday party last night whose social media posts I don’t see because this is the only account I have. I can confirm that what I see on this platform is essentially everyone’s sentiment.

I don’t have Facebook but my wife does.

99 of her friends clicked haha on the health company’s condolence message
