This isn’t a lamf moment. Ford is certainly conservative and a terrible person in many ways but Canadian conservatives are strongly in favor of free trade.
This actually might be one of the better responses I’ve seen because the US is highly energy dependent on Canada (especially Quebec).
Most of that energy goes to the very Democratic leaning liberal states.
Michigan, New York, and Minnesota.
