Summary

Experts warn that Donald Trump could weaponize the Justice Department during a second term to undermine voting rights.

He is expected to weaken enforcement of the Voting Rights Act, target local election officials, and amplify unsubstantiated voter fraud claims.

His potential appointees, including Pam Bondi and Harmeet Dhillon, have histories of supporting restrictive voting measures.

Trump’s plans may include prosecuting state officials over election law interpretations and curbing private lawsuits under the Voting Rights Act.

These moves threaten to erode federal voting protections and intimidate election administrators.

That’s exactly what he’s going to do. They have literally said what they are going to do. Hell they wrote a manual, and called it project 2025 that says what they are going to do. And instead of throwing that shit out, we voted them into office.

Overhead someone talking about project 2025 and the heritage foundation and how they and their family were hardcore tRumpers but didn’t like project 2025 or the heritage foundation even said no one listens to them anyway, whoever they were talking to pointed out that he listened to them when he appointed the Supreme Court judges.

I didn’t vote for him, that doesn’t mean we as a country didn’t. No reason to get butt hurt over symantics.

We as a country stayed home. Too bad Democrats ran a candidate that inspired apathy.

If only someone had the opportunity to shore up voting rights during the past 4 years.

    Now watch the excuses flow.

Instead of trying to implement safeguards for the working class and the country, Biden is doing meaningless shit like giving Hillary Clinton awards. Theyve only had the last 11 years to strength or renew the VRA.

Putting a convicted conman back into the WH and as leader of a wider organized crime group, the GOP. What could possibly go wrong?
