Fuck you Nvidia.
€3k for a 5090. That’s $3.1k. Not worth it!
I felt stupid buying the 4090 at less than 1.7k… Since I tend to keep my computers for 5 years or so I went ahead and did it. I still wouldn’t have done it for 3k… Maybe the prices will be reasonable in 4 more years… Either that or the trade war with China will cause me to have to go back to playing pong or something.
Maybe people not able to afford new cards, forces studios to optimize their games.
Nvidia doesn’t care that much about selling to gamers anymore. They care about selling to data center providers.
My point still stands.
I highly doubt that any of the big players are going to reduce requirements. It’s clearly collusion with gfx card manufacturers. That’s my tinfoil hat for the week and I’m sticking to it.
