chicago massively needs to get the criminal element out of its ranks. Im normally very pro union but the union leadership is so mafia.
Police unions aren’t real unions. Also, they have problems with extremism and organized crime like you mentioned really frequently, so I don’t think this is anything unique to Chicago.
