Cool build, but a little reading in how mills and lathes are made would result in a much better machine. The Gingery machine shop series is cheap and good to read even if you don’t want to pour aluminum - his machines also make some bad compromises, but the books also inform you of things that would make you do machines like this different if you knew them.
I totally read that as killing machine and got confused.
Any machine is a killing machine if you use it improperly enough.
Getting an endmill with a dessicant package:
It said not to eat the dessicant so the rest should be ok, right?
Don’t give up so easy. Pretty sure it can be expanded to fit you on the bed.

How fast can you spin a cow on a spindle?
Depends… The technician inside me asks: How big and heavy is the theoretical cow and can I get a huge spindle with a powerful motor?
I read “solid” as “sold” and was thinking it was trying to get around taxes or something.
“Nah, it’s not a 3D printed machine. It’s a rock!”
So we’re using additive manufacturing to produce tools for reductive manufacturing now? Interesting.
