      Came here to say weighted blanket for certain. I like my king-sized one because there’s always enough of it that’s cool, but not too cold, to keep me from baking for a couple hours at least. Comes naturally to just shift the blanket when I turn over anyways.

        Mine isn’t that large, but because it’s knitted it’s basically full of big holes between the knits (like a loosely knitted hat or sweater).

        It holds very little heat as a result.

          My favorite blankets before this one were knitted blankets or wool blankets. Unfortunately, I had already bought it before realizing that knitted weight blankets were a thing, and with them running about double the price, I’ll wait a while before I buy one.

    the only way to be truly comfortable in bed is to have spent the whole day exercising so your skin is glowing red hot, and have your bedroom be -40°C, so you can physically feel the heat reflecting off the covers and the chill on your face reminds you that you would otherwise be freezing your ass off
