I’ve always found this case compelling. I believe the men who allegedly had this encounter were studied by Garry Nolan because of the adverse health effects resulting from the encounter. If I recall correctly, this incident is what initially drew Garry Nolan to the topic.
I thought Gary Nolan had been drawn to the topic by way of being an experiencer. He has memories going back to childhood of craft and beings.
It wasn’t until he saw the cover of Communion that he connected the dots on the experiences and aliens.
That is also correct. I meant he was drawn to it from an investigative standpoint. I believe this is the first case where the ‘government’ approached him to examine the patients using the equipment he developed at Stanford.
