I got creative with the chat that some people hate so much. It converges with you regarding anxiety, lol.

      • ADHD: Enhanced multitasking and creativity, leading to innovative problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
      • ASD: Exceptional attention to detail and a unique perspective that contributes to meticulous work, precision, and out-of-the-box thinking.
      • Anxiety: Hyper-awareness of potential risks, ensuring thorough planning, risk assessment, and a proactive approach to challenges.
      • Depression: A heightened sense of empathy and emotional intelligence, enabling the creation of more authentic connections with colleagues and clients, resulting in improved teamwork and rapport.
      • Suicidal tendencies: Exceptional strength in overcoming personal challenges, cultivating an unwavering determination to confront difficult situations, and fostering a unique perspective on life’s struggles, which can inspire resilience in others.

Agree, turning anxiety into art is the traditional way.

Yeah, but most of the time their work doesn’t make money until they’re long dead.

Not a fan of “If you are good at something never do it for free.” There’s a whole lot more to life than money, and you shouldn’t gatekeep your own fun hobbies behind getting someone to pay you for it just because you’re good at them.

Yes, I had the same thought. But also… it’s just a silly meme about anxiety. It’s not like OP is going to ruin their love for anxiety by selling their anxious services.

The other half is “it’s not about the money, it’s about sending a message”. Proceeds to burn the money.

If you’re good at coping with your anxiety, there’s probably a market for you to help other people do the same! You could run a tea shop, train therapy dogs, report on uplifting news, be a professional gardener, compile self-affirmation booklets,…

Not so much of a (legal) market for the unhealthy coping mechanisms. Run a liquor store?

Feel like all politicians are selling these days (and probably most days in the past) is anxiety. “Vote for me or [X]!”
