    This has been a thing in Japan even before the population crisis. This has been a thing in other Asian countries besides Japan! What’s next? “Japan’s economy is so bad, they’re using paper for their doors!” Japan’s population and economic problems are apparent. Why does CNN feel it needs to mislead in order to punctuate it?

      Every western news source out there.

      We’re closer to achieving cold fusion than we are to achieving a newspaper that can write about Japan without descending into “wACkY jAPaN!!” territory.

    Sounds more like the Japanese have a minumum wage and nonstandardized working hours problem than a marriage problem.

      Exactly! In the article they say that if you’re working 70 hours a week of course you won’t have time to find a partner.
