I think the real reason biden killed the railroad strike (other than him being a ghoul) is because they majority shareholders of those companies are hedge funds which also manage everyone’s mutual funds and 401ks. If that stopped making those funds any profit then pretty much kill the retirement savings of people who used those funds to secure their retirement investments.
USA is just a multinational Rube Goldberg machine.
